Purchased the 5 qt 4 years ago and now upgraded to the 6 qt and will put the 5 qt in the RV. We also purchased 3 others for gifts. The probe cooks the dish to perfection. The only negative thing about this cooker is the LED display, it is very hard to see. Would like it a little more brighter.

(Almost) Everything you want in a slow cooker.

The best slow cooker out there. One feature I have been looking for is a delayed start. I have never seen a slow cooker with a delayed start and suspect this has something to do with manufacturers concern re uncooked food (including meat) sitting in the slow cooker for hours at room temperature waiting to start. A scheduled off time doesn't work for some foods like roasts because the slow cooker is acting like an oven (all be it with a lot of moisture) and continues to cook even after it has switched to "keep warm" which results in an overcooked roast. Despite the complaint I love this slow cooker.
