Endeavour XL

The Endeavour was the most impressive British sailboat to ever race in the America’s Cup World Series. Built for speed as well as beauty, the Endeavour was created in 1934 by Thomas Sopwith, the undisputed leader of the British aircraft industry. They are built to scale with high-grade wood such as: western red cedar, rosewood, and mahogany. They are 100% hand built individually using plank-on-frame construction method and are similar to the building of actual ships. Each model requires hundreds of hours to finish and must go through a demanding quality control process before leaving the workshop. The Endeavour model features beautiful hand stitched sails that extends all the way to the mast head. C60. An elongated boom flows from the mast to the stern. There is a wooden cabin located in the middle of the deck. You can also spot a companionway that would lead to the bottom hull. Various wooden winches are placed around the deck to wind up or out riggings when needed. The detailed stitched sail and intricate rigging complete the definition of a true sailing boat.
