The quilt reverses to a trendy black and white gingham design to give you more options for your bedroom decor. Top and backing are both 100% soft, brushed polyester. Disappointed the shams are standard size for a king size quilt. I don't use the shams because they look like throw pillows on a king size bed

Dear Tangie, So glad you love the quilt and sorry you are not happy with the sham size. Our standard shams are noted as 20"x26" and our king shams, when available, are noted as 20"x36".
