Key code problem

Key code doesn't work. contacted the company and they want a pic of the error message and the receipt, cd, case, key code, ect,, emailed to them. I purchased the cd to avoid this kind of thing. I have been trying out the game and am not sure it is worth the effort, because the setting interface is kind of confusing setting up joystick ect.
