Isotoma fluviatilis, Blue Star Creeper Ground Cover: Looking for a new plant to locate between paving stones, in the rock garden, or as a lawn substitute? Blue Star Creeper does well in the miniature garden, fairy garden, or even the "real" garden. It is a creeping perennial that forms a flat carpet of small green leaves. The leaves are then dotted with soft-blue, star-shaped flowers all summer long. In cold-winter regions, it can be grown as an annual. To make new plantings, it can easily be teased apart.
