'Float' the bloat
When I started my '10 pound tire' diet, I inevitably began eating lo carb fruits,nuts and foods with more fiber. My diet is a sort of modified version of the South Beach Diet which I find easy to follow and appetizing. I do not fill up on fiber,I didn't go from no fiber to bowls of bran buds--but,just about everything I eat or drink has more protein and more fiber.Either natural or fortified-fiber.What comes with fiber comes with gas or air or wind or everything people blame on the dog or the other guy in the elevator.I asked our Nurse P.A. to recommend something other then the gas tabs I'd been using for years. She said "Phazyme." I went to the store and bought a 12 pack--I wasn't going to buy the jumbo size--at first- I'm too cheap and unconvinced-as of yet. What a difference ONE Phazyme makes! I don't have to 'gobble' gas tabs two at a time--I can take one maybe two Phazyme --it's especially nice at bedtime--to NOT feel the 'fiber rock' (bloat) under my rib cage. I have noticed that Phazyme offers good coupons (Sunday paper) and sometimes a discount sticker on the box. Phazyme is cost effective because you (I) don't have to chew 'fruit' tabs 4 times a day. This is another product that's a 'go' (no pun) coupon or no. Thank you!
