Great for fine fur!

I have a medium hair cat and a long hair cat.... we've tried sooo many brushes. THIS is the only one that works on both of them. They both have fine hair and this takes off more hair than anything else. One side has slightly stiffer bristles (black side) and works best with my long-hair ragdoll. The trick is to start off very gently, where you're not getting much hair, until your kitty relaxes.Then you can apply more pressure. You may need to hold the fur a bit while you brush, so it doesn't pull on their skin.
