One Size Up

I ordered one size up based on the reviews, and that seems to have been the right choice. I haven't tried swimming yet, but I usually wear a 2X. I ordered this tankini in a 3x and the fit was really flattering. It was maybe a tad larger in the top than I would have liked at a 3x, but the shorts fit great. I love that the top and bottoms look casual enough to go from beach to, say, a beach bar without feeling like I'm in my undies. The versatility of the tankini look is great. For reference, I am about 5 ft tall and I fluctuate between 185 and 195 lbs. My figure is mostly hourglass with a bit of an apple look around the hips. So the suit fits well on a short, curvy frame - but with one size up. The bra-top wasn't the most secure, but it did hold in and flatter my double-D chest. If I had the option to size up just the bottoms and size down the top, I might have done so. So - short, curvy ladies out there can be relatively assured that the suit will fit, but they may want to go one size up. I know it can be hard to figure out what something will look like when all of the models are 5 sizes smaller and at least six inches taller, so I hope this review helps someone.
