Producing a crop in early summer and another in the fall, the Caroline Raspberry yields loads of big, round, firm and juicy, red berries. It is well-suited for the South, but it is very adaptable to almost all climates. Caroline has the largest berries of all fall-bearing varieties, and production is very high. The berries have a strong raspberry flavor and are great for jams or for baking in muffins and sweet tarts. The plant is hardy and self-pollinating as well as resistant to gray mold. Hardy in USDA zones 4 to 9. Each offer includes one dormant bare root plant.
