an extinct species, unfortunately

Incredible sound in a super slim package. It has tone control knobs and also a digital equalizer (+/-12dB per band ) which can be manually configured per channel to your liking. Pure awesomeness! I so miss such small and simple receivers... Everything today is super-extra large and with too many functions that most people won't ever need.

Significant setup speed bumps but otherwise great

Sounds wonderful, once you get it to work. Setup is an absolute beast and anytime you change anything (switching wires around, etc.) the bass drops out, or the entire thing goes silent. Using the provided microphone was the only way we could figure out to get it to come back on, but that sounds best anyway, and once we figured that out it started working perfectly.
