This is a no-brainer...

2012 Chrysler 300 with 87k miles... Castrol is a great choice in oil. Do some research and see for yourself. My car runs quieter and responds like new when I use this brand. This is my first time using this particular quality of their product, but I am observing the same smooth results. If you are the DIY type, I think you will benefit from paying attention to this oil. Everything these days is priced with a question mark, but this is not painful. Just a habit of mine... filter changes only at 3-4k miles when using full synthetic long milage "oils". I have no confidence in filters lasting the life of long term oil. Same filter for 10-20,000 miles? REALLY? I don't trust that plan... not unless I'm investing top dollar in a super filter! My filter is topside in the engine bay--easy access. So why not?

This oil is the only oil that hit all the wickets that Jeep recommend for the engines. I have a 5.7, 3.8, 3.6, now 2.0 turbo we run now 5W30 on 5000 mile intervals. Also the same as the oil filter. Other words I am a Mobil one fan. Two of my sons and wife run only Mobil one.

I use this oil in my old Toyota cars that call for 5W30. It does not turn dirty , ( black), as conventional motor oil would. Walmart is always running sales on this oil too which is great. Castrol has quite the reputation as a good engine oil. Been around for many years. Highly recommend for the do it yourself oil change person.
