Despite its unconventional design, over 70,000 T-34 armours were products over the course of the war. When it was first deployed, the T-34 presented a threat that Germany wasn't prepared to deal with.

Designed to replace the monstrous KV tank series, the IS-2 was nearly as massive but even more destructive. Equipped with a massive 122mm gun, it was built to break through enemy positions, regardless of whether that meant breaking tank lines or demolishing enemy fortifications.
