This is very high quality and very effective for the heavy snow here in NH. The chute makes such a difference for removing snow from the roof. It is heavier than cheaper roof rakes but that's what makes it so effective. Was already worth the purchase just using it once for a large amount of heavy snow, but we expect it will be used for years to come due to the quality and durability.

I chose this roof rake over the cheaper Avalanche roof rake because of the longer handle, wider rake, and sturdier fabric. It did not disappoint. Very sturdy construction and I have already put it through it's paces on some old consolidated snowbon New England. I was surprised at how well it cut through old dense snow and love how the snow just tumbles down the slide and off the roof! I was glad for the extra length handle.
