Go back to the older model and keep the brown cap.

You have to point the brush up when not in use or all the soap drains out. Older models are better. Bristles easily bend if you scrub. Again, older models were better.

Do yourself a favor and just go to your favorite $ store, this Dishwand is way too overpriced and barely releases any soap. Will not buy anything Scotch-Brite again.
