I gave this to my granddaughter for her 1st birthday. She loves it! It is hard plastic so it is sturdy and can be easily wiped down. The seat lifts and small items can be "hidden" there. When she sits in the seat it activates the sound. It has a tv "remote" and other attached items. Overall, it is very cute for the price and I definitely recommend it for your one-year old.

Great toy for my 1 year old

I bought this chair for my daughters 1st birthday 28 days ago and at first she was a little skeptic about it but then soon warmed up to it her favorite part it to slam down the chair then reopen it constantly until it sings the abc song she enjoys the books and because I'm teaching her how important veggies are the singing books help alot. Also the many stages are great For any parent thinking about purchasing this toy I advise you to buy this when your child is crawling good considering it hasn't been long since I've bought this I wish I had purchased this at 10 months.
