This chair is not true to description. Very deceptive in description. The footrest is not as long as stated. The footrest does not raise up as it is supposed to. I am very disappointed in this product. I am having a nightmare returning this product as well.

Buyer beware.
This was purchased for my father, received the chair in good time, was simple to assemble, basically take out of box and slide pieces together. This is the good news. Now for the bad: We purchased mid October this year. We noticed immediately this really is NOT an oversized recliner, when we put this one next to the one we previously had, there is a VERY noticeable difference. My dad sat in it and stated right away it was not comfortable, (should have put it right back in the box!) Hindsight being 20/20 but we really thought it just needed some time to adjust to his body. but it has now been two months and unfortunately it has become the most uncomfortable chair we have ever sat in. We purchased this mainly because of its weight capacity and that it stated "OVERSIZED." It does not have any give in it, and does not fully recline, his legs/feet are at a consistent downward angle. The cup holders are a nice addition but inadequate in where they are placed. My father started to complain of his hips/tailbone aching all the time now, we had him looked at by his medical staff and he does indeed have very noticeable bruising that they believe is coming from this chair. Unfortunately, we are now in the midst of trying to return the chair, there were no reviews on this chair on Walmart's website, I should have known better than to blind purchase anything with no reviews. They are requesting video/pics, which i will send in. Guess we shall see what happens. At this time, I would not recommend this chair. Will update if resolved or not.
