Description: With a life span of up to 2000 years, the Baobab tree is considered "Tree of Life" as it provides food, water and shelter to the indigenous people of Africa. The oil obtained from its seeds is rich in vitamins A, D, and E, as well as antioxidants.

Color: Pale yellow to yellow liquid.

Aromatic Description: Baobab Oil has very little scent characteristic of most carrier oils.

Common Uses: Baobab Oil is non-greasy and is absorbed quickly into skin. It is used in skincare for creams, lotions and balms, as well as a massage oil base for essential oils. Baobab Carrier Oil has been part of African skin care for centuries. Rich in vitamins A, D, E and F and other essential fatty acids, Baobab provides excellent moisturizing benefits to the skin and hair. It absorbs easily into the skin, improves tone, elasticity, and regenerates and renews skin cells. It is said to have antioxidant properties and is an excellent ingredient in formulations for eczema and psoriasis. Use in small percentages in face creams, lotions, body butters, conditioners and hair care treatments.
