After doing a web search and reading recommendations, this was THE BOOK by Ed Friedland, (rather BOOKS, as books 1, 2, and 3 are bound together with each accompanying cd for each book) to help one learn bass guitar. Walmart had the best online price that I could find as my BAM club membership had expired. I reasoned why pay more (with the membership fee) when Walmart was cheaper? Having received the product- (UPS-MI by the way sent my package on a LOOOO-OOONG crooked route to get to me, no thanks to THEM...) and looking through it, this will help me learn to play my bass better, and help me to understand music instead of only TAB. Bass tablature, or bass tab, is a pretty simple system of music notation for bass. I have been playing some songs using tabs.
