Nice, energy efficient portable refrigerator.
This is my second one of these. The first one lasted over a decade, knocking around in my boat. Well made and IMO, quite energy efficient. I was curious about it's effeciency, so I filled the DZ-62 with items and set both compartments to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. After exactly 7 days it consumed 4.4 Kw. An average of 0.63 Kilowatts per day. This is an average of about 31 watts per hour. When the compressor is running it draws around 55 watts, when the compressor os off about 2 watts. Arguably this consumption is with the lids closed. When you're in and out of the fridge, you will use more power but I'd think that 1 Kw per day would be a good average.

Bigger than Expected !
Wow, I was impressed with the size of that thing. I could barely fit it into my Kia. Of coarse it was packaged very well. It was in a box inside of another box. Once I got it unpackaged I was still impressed with the actual size. I plugged it in , and it worked well. I would say it took about a half hour to shut off. That is it got up to temperature pretty quickly. The Freezer at 0 degree F and the Fridge at 38 degree F. I am very happy with my purchase. I also liked the fact that I could pick it up at my local Walmart. It took about a week to get it shipped to walmart and then I was notified via email that I could come and pick it up. Very good service, Thank you !
