Dock Edge Dock-Side Premium Mooring Whips, 2pk

I purchased the 16 ft set to suppoort my 21 1/2 ft Pontoon. They were easy to install and came with everything I needed. I needed to experiment some to get the rope adjustment and tension to set properly but once in position and adjustment I tied the ropes so that no adjustment was necessary after setting. Tension will need set to meet lake level accordingly. I am pleased with the product performing as expected. They keep the boat away from my dock as designed. On a windy day 20 MPH or greater winds certainly challenge thier performance but I feel if you know high winds 30 MPH or higher is coming it would be wise to either trailer your boat or secure for safety.

Extremely poor customer service.

I have six of these and was happy with them until I had to actually get a warranty replacement. The whip failed on mooring a jet ski. Never should a whip fail under the relatively small weight of a jet ski. Try getting a hold of anyone at Dock Edge is a joke. Rarely do they answer the phone and never do they return a phone call. I finally got through to a real human and she gave me a fake email address to send the photos and receipts. The email, of course, bounced back and I am left to start all over.
