MY FIRST KEEN NOW, FOREVER A KEEN LOVER!

I purchased my first pair of keen back in about 2009 I just retired them!! I can't believe how much wear I put on those things! the truth is the inside wore out long before the outside ever did! Just bought these to replace looking forward to the next 10 years in these if the inside holds up?

Keens are the only boots I hike in!

I have 6 pairs of Keen boots, sandals and shoes which I love. I purchased 1/2 size up in these and all other hiking boots to allow for aftermarket insoles and thicker socks. The only downside, which is simple to fix, are the laces - this style comes untied too frequently for my liking. I have 100-200 miles on this pair of boots and they appear good for another couple hundred.

First Time Elk Hunt

My husband got these for me for Christmas last year. I wear them all the time. We went up in the mountains for a four day elk hunt. (My first one EVER!) We walked, we climbed, we had to haul a 400lb elk out on a game cart. One day was seven miles over rugged Montana terrain. The only thing that DID NOT hurt when we got done - was my feet. These hikers hold up, they're warm, they don't let moisture in, and are worth their weight in gold. Keen is my favorite brand of shoe, and these are definitely my favorite shoe to wear no matter what.
