I purchased these for my 80 yr old Mother. She had a previous pair of these shears that she loved, but they finally broke. These shears are a lot easier for her to use with her arthritic hands since she only has to grip %26 squeeze the handle as opposed to inserting her fingers into the handle. They are very sharp and will cut a variety of items.
