Best fit for AFO (Ankle Foot Orthodic)

I recently was fitted for an AFO and the New Balance line was recommended to me because they offer wide selections with an roomy toe box. I regularly wore NB so it was a no brainer for me to continue with this brand. Due to the AFO I had to get two pairs, my regular at 11.5 regular and one sized 12.5 6E to accommodate the AFO. If anyone out there needs a left foot 11.5 and right foot 12.5 6E let me know, lol!

At first was not a fan of the new design

I have been wearing these as doctor recommended to use with my articulating brace because of the non roll heel. I got the new pair and at first it was really hard to get the shoe to go over the brace and I was skeptical because the new design the toes are raised but after 2 or three days of wearing it around the brace was going in better and the new design, I had cursed the 1st time I put it on began to grow on me I actually love the new design now. Its actually safer for anyone with a tbi/stroke/drop foot because of the anti ankle roll and now the lifted toe. You guys doing great work with this shoe. Thanks

Great, comfortable product.

Overall I am very pleased with this product. I am now wearing my 4th pair of these shoes! Only reason I give them only a 4 star rating is that I find that the stitching could be stronger (I do need to get minor repairs done after several months of wear). Otherwise I am extremely pleased with this product and will continue to buy them!
