Longest lasting tire I've ever owned

I put a set of 265/75/16 A/T3s on my Chevrolet K1500 at 161,000 miles thinking they would be the last set before the truck died. At 267,000 miles I replaced the A/T3s. I probably could have gotten another 5,000 miles out of them, but I was about to put 4,000 miles on them on a hunting trip out west. Yep, I got 106,000 miles out of one set, the tire dealer I buy from did a double take on the work orders mileages. It pays to rotate every 5,000 miles, check the tire pressure often, and don't abuse your equipment. I use the truck for commuting, towing my boat or camper and for off road hunting. Waiting to see which wears out first- the tires or the truck.

Awesome for price

I have purchased Cooper tires for years and these have been the best so far. I have gotten over 30,000 miles out of the current set of A/T3's, with consistent balancing and rotating, and should get at least another 20,000 hopefully. They are not noisy by any means and are great in muddy conditions, as deep as four to six inches on the trails on the property that I hunt on. They are great on the highway as well, in dry and wet conditions, they handle well and allow me to brake with confidence. Since I drive over 120 miles a day the Cooper Discoverer has been my go to tire for over 15 years. I use them on both my trucks and will use them in the future.

If you are looking for best tire for your money...this is it.

I am currently about 10,000 miles into my second set of AT3's. I love them. Living in the middle of PA we have all kinds of different terrain from snow, rain, ice, sleet, sand, mud, clay, gravel, swamp. Just a little bit of everything. With these tires I have never been concerned with whether or not I would make it. I put a around 40k on my first set. Would have been more but I destroyed 2 tires ripping a stump out of a driveway. So I bought a set of 4. These tires never let me down. No matter what I throw at them they deliver. When you spend almost $1,000 for tires you have to wonder if you "got a good deal" personally these tires never made me ask that question.
