I purchased this kit several months ago, and let it sit in the garage while I researched the 'wobble' issue that is discussed quite a bit with lifted Gen5 Subaru Outbacks... After lots of reading, communications with other Outback owners who have lifted their vehicles and what lift kits they used, as well as studying the design and application of the different kits, I came to the conclusion that IHMO the 'wobble' comes from the CVT/primary drive line angle changes brought on by relocating the rear sub-frame, thus changing the angle of the primary shaft. Because the ReadyLift kit does not relocate the rear subframe, I figured that it will not induce the notorious 15-20 mph 'wobble' and decided to go ahead with the installation. I did the work on my driveway, using my hydraulic Quick Jack to lift the car. I followed the clearly written instructions, and in less than 4 hours had the job completed. The only issue I can upon was re-tightening the rear suspension hardware with the car back on the ground - as instructed. My solution: after jouncing the car a bit (shaking it from the roof rack actually), and rolling it a few feet forward and back to take the tension off of the tires from having been lifted on the QuickJack, I decided to back the car up onto a set of ramps. This gave me plenty of room underneath to tighten everything up, while keeping the suspension under load. The result?? Epic!! I am completely pleased with the look and ride of the car. I work in aerospace quality control, and can say without question that the ReadyLift kit components are all extremely well made and have a very high standard fit and finish. Oh...and that wobbling thing? Doesn't exist - at least not on my car. Well done ReadyLift!!
