Evelyn&Zoe Sawyer Rectangular TV Stand for TV's up to 55" in White Oak

This is a very stylish and solid TV stand. If you are looking for either a contemporary rustic design or a minimalist Swedish-type aesthetic, this stand will work for you. While we're all used to the wonders of flat-packed furnishings, this unit is quite intelligently packed. A relatively small amount of stiff foam, styrofoam, and cardboard protectors are used which provides excellent protection but keeps the box size as small as possible. My stand arrived in perfect condition. When you unpack the screws, bolts, dowels, brackets, and fasteners, you'll likely wonder how much work is ahead of you (they actually pack a few extra of each item just in case). As it turns out, the stand isn't particularly complicated to assemble but I'd strongly suggest you have a powered Philips head screwdriver (or drill attachment) to speed things along and save your hands. The unit took me about 90 minutes to put together. Some of the holes will require you to put a bit of shimmy effort into the construction but everything is where it's supposed to be and the machining is generally pretty well done. Once assembled and tightened, this unit is rock solid. I purchased the "white oak" color (indicated as "brown" versus "grey" where you select your product color choice). The product pictures for "brown" show a warmer wood tone than is actually the case. White oak is perhaps a better description than brown since you're really getting a washed wood color. It's still very attractive but be aware that what you see in the product picture is a warmer wood tone than what you'll receive. Beyond that, the unit is exactly as pictured. We have a 55" TV and this stand is pretty much perfect for it. There is plenty of storage in the four compartments for electronics, books, headphones, and so on. If you have a TV larger than 55", you'll want to move up to the bigger version of this TV stand as the width of your TV will be longer than the width of the stand. All in all, a pretty, clean design with rock solid construction and not too onerous assembly (again, a powered Philips head screwdriver is highly recommended).
