Forceum Ultra 2
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- All season traction
- Enhanced controllability
- Longer lasting tread life
OVERVIEW
The Forceum Ultra 2 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vans.
The tire ensures exceptional all season traction. It combines the ribbed tread design and the all season compound to promote a secure year-round performance. The ideal tread design, with the siping placement, provides additional biting edges throughout the drive, optimizing the dry, winter, and wet traction. Additionally, the compound keeps the rubber flexible at all times, boosting the summer and winter weather application. Zigzag circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint, preventing hydroplaning.
The ribbed footprint's surface contact also increases its controllability. The center ribs maintain the road contact at all times, upgrading the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the tire provides a faster and more precise steering response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure as well. The solid shoulder ribs grip the road surface, upgrading the cornering and maneuvering capability. This further increases the driver's control over the vehicle, resulting in a safer driving experience.
The Ultra 2 enhances the usability too. The stable, ribbed tread design and stronger rubber materials optimize the treadwear rate. They allow the tire to prevent irregular wear along the footprint by evenly circulating the driving pressure. Durable compound elements decrease the treadwear rate as well, elongating the service life. This combination guarantees a lengthened tread life as it offers slow and even wear along the tread area.
Manufacturers only provide the width and rim diameter with these tires. Various brands and models will have discrepancies. To ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter should be checked.
The Overall Diameter advertised represents the overall diameter in inches, once it has been inflated and mounted.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
