To be honest I chose this scope over a Simmons because of brand name. (However I couldn't find truglo on the scope like Simmons had on the side). In addition it is filled with nitrogen. I know, I don't have a clue how being filled with nitrogen helps but it sounded cool. When I first opened package I noticed it came with .22 cal clamp type rings commonly know as 3/8 rings. I don't like them. I prefer weaver type. However it was my fault because the item specs lists them. The problem arose when I tried to tighten said rings to my 10/22 base. They wouldn't lock in. As I would turn the thumb screw they would shift and pop out. I took scope back to walmart, got a gift card and bought a Simmons scope which I just sighted in. Cover 10 shots with nickel at 25 yards. It cost less!!!
