Price good by comparison

Most of these modern high quality wood stove chimney components are high priced, perhaps because of little competition in a niche market. (Though I admit I do not know the economics of production, calculating only by content and design demands.) I don't see how this cap will prevent rain entry in heavy weather, but I have not yet had a good test. The wind oriented rotating cap is a considerably more expensive alternative as is the monsoon type rain cap.
