This item does not mention in the description that it only comes with a car plug for a power source. There is no cord to plug it into a wall socket. I had to purchase that item separately and it is not even listed as an accessory item that you can buy. I had to fumble around searching for a cord that would fit the orifice on the actual machine. Not happy about that. I had purchased this exact item partially on its look, so that it could be left out in our pool area to blow up the children's toys, rafts etc. once I had the correct cord for doing this, the machine worked fine and I am happy with the performance of it and it is cute and does not look like a piece of machinery. So that is all good but I was disappointed that I could not use it until I found and purchased an adaptor
