Good Tire

Great set of tires for all around driving down in the south. Quiet and good traction on wet roads and no hydroplaning with good tread depth. Rubber does not last as long as they state in their specs but it does last about 3/4 of that mileage and still has tread depth to use on dry pavement.

Great employees in the Auto Care Center

The Auto Center at the Northeast store is fantastic. As soon as I walked in Makyla met with a hello and was ready to get my tire paperwork ready for me. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. Then the service tech William came and got the keys and brought my car into the bay right away. He was very good. He explained everything that was going on and was done in no time after torquing all the lug nuts, my car was reay for me. Everyone in the Auto Center were very courteous, freindly and knowledgeable. Makyla and William were top notch and need to be recognized for their work ethic. Thank you for a very pleasant atmosphere while I waited on my car.

Running smooth - time will tell how they hold up.

My initial reaction is good, especially for a low cost set of tires. They run smooth. Time will tell how well they hold up. My online search revealed Douglas tires are made by Goodyear. I will only put about 6,000 miles per year on them, so it doesn't make sense for me to buy an expensive 80,000 mile tire, as with all today's tires, something usually goes wrong with the tire before the tread wears out if you don't put all the miles on in the first few years. The experience at Walmart was excellent, paying and booking appt. online after seeing online that they were in stock. They were installed in about 45 minutes with no problems.
