The RGC Pivot Ladder Hoist (400lb. 44 Foot) is an OSHA-compliant shingle lift that operates similarly to a conveyor belt to lift materials up and over onto the peak of a roof. This ladder platform shingle hoist is adjustable between 35 and 75 degrees and is ideal for long roofs and steep slopes. This Reimann and Georger ladder hoist is easy to assemble as the platform secures to the base section with dual anchor points on the 3rd and 5th tracks and cross ties with the Classic Drive for increased stability. The shingle lift ladder hoist operates with dual handle controls that are located on the side of the lift to ensure the safety of the operator. This 400 pound. pivoting platform ladder hoist comes with the option of three different motors including Briggs and Stratton gas, Honda gas, or Electric motor. The RGC Pivoting platform hoist lift includes a Classic Drive, platform assembly, and 8 feet. base track with shoes, three 8 feet. track sections with plates, three 4 feet. track sections with plates, one pivoting track section, and one adjustable telescoping support brace. Please Note: This platform hoist is for material lifting only. The ladder is not intended for climbing purposes as this could lead to serious injury. Ive owned many Tranzporter setups. They are fairly simple setup and 1 person can manipulate a 1 story setup fairly easily. I seen ads for this setup and like the idea of an up the roof concept, as opposed to loading from eave. The nearly 5 k setup doesnt even come with the roof support.. that is extra.. kinda dumb. the motor assembly is very heavy. It takes 2 people to lift comfortably. The angle/pivot design is a little weak. The concept seems good with adjustability for angle, but mine started to bend on 3rd project and I only send up 2 bundles at a time. If 4 bundles at a time Im sure it would be worse... it takes more time to rig than the tranzporter, but it does work better overall. This setup isnt good for roof edge loading due to cart design--although it can be done. Difficult to connect ladder pieces at angle change when working on a pitched roof. Some of the fabricated/welded pieces dont line up with pins and whatnot--just basic oversight from fabrication. I like it and the idea. A little flimsy at the angle change and imho it should be about 1k cheaper and come with the roof support in the kit..
