After thorough research i chose a white sapphire for my wedding ring.sapphires are #9 on the mos scale diamond being 10 the strongest . I have my diamond engagement ring on my other hand so i can clearly see the difference. Pros, very comfortable fit. Great size I personally would not go any bigger than 8mm stone and its slightly bigger. Shines beautifully in the dark. Cons, it takes extra maintenance. It gets dirtier than my diamond. so you need a pipe cleaner to scrub in hard to reach places and unless its clean it wont shine much and look dingy . After thought a diamond vs white sapphire now i can see my diamond shines clear, and I now realize a white saphire shines white (obviously lol) and does not look brilliant and firey as the diamond. But in fact has its own beautiful shine that sets is apart from a diamond. I would reccomend this beautiful ring :)
