Easy Install

I bought this about a month ago to put on my grandad's 72 GMC pickup. The points were always an issue with it not running at all or running poorly. I had hoped not to have to pull the distributor shaft but this was not the case, like the directions say, the distributor does have to come out in order to route the wires through the bottom plate. I watched a couple videos before installing and followed the very well written instructions and installation was a breeze. The old truck started right up and is running better than it has in many years. I also like the fact it maintains an original appearance and does not require changing out distributor, plug wires etc...

Some good, some bad

The good, does not require bypassing th factory ballast / resistor wire. Doesn't appear to be a problem if the key is left in the on position without the motor running. This is an issue with some of the brands. The bad, More of a PITA to install, flimsy ring terminals on the wires
