Awesome USA baseball bat

We bought this bat for our 8 year old son after getting two other USA baseball bats from different manufacturers. The other two bats were too head heavy and our son way having a tough time hitting pitches as his swing was a bit late. He was losing confidence and, to be honest, interest. The balance on this bat makes it appear lighter than it is and as such he is able to now time the pitches up properly and is making regular contact in both machine and kid pitch. I did a ton of research on the USA bats and there are very few that are more than drop 10 with a lighter, more balanced feel. Most were just too head heavy for our situation. Highly recommend this bat.

Awesome

First of all, I was so annoyed at the new bat rule having to have this USA sticker so that calls for spending more money on another brand new bat, (when we already purchased one, non-USA) before this new rule came out. Well, let me tell you..my son loves his new bat, his team mates compliments him about it, and it has a nice touch to it unlike the other bats he used. Now I'm definitely glad about this new rule, and I will most definitely purchase more DeMarini bats in the future!

Great bat

My 7 year old son has been using this bat on his rec. and all-star team since early April. Took him a few weeks to get used to, but once he did he's been hitting over .600 with it off a pitching machine set at 40 mph. Some paint is chipping, but other than that the bat is in good shape. No dents or anything. My son is small for his age. He's just about 4 ft. tall, and only weighs 50 lbs. I got him the 28/18 and put a choke up ring on it. This was one of the few new usa bats that I felt like my small 7 year old would be able to swing okay. It's very balanced, and I think the smaller 2 1/2" barrel diameter helps also. Looking forward to seeing what the 2019 uprising looks like!
