Tomato Powder is made from ground, dried tomatoes. This is a fine, dull red powder that is 60 mesh in size. Tomato Powder has a mild tomato flavor.ÊSuggested Use: Tomato Powder is wonderful for adding color and flavor to fresh pasta, noodle and bread doughs. It can also be used in yeast breads, quick breads or muffins. Add a little to vegetable soup or stews for a richer stock with hint of tomato flavor. Ingredients: Spray Dried Tomato Powder, less than 1% silicon dioxide (anti-caking agent). Basic Prep: Mix tomato powder into flour before adding wet ingredients, about 1/2 ounce for every pound of flour.
