Grain Wood Furniture Mid Century 2-Drawer Nightstand, Brushed Walnut

This piece is excellent! Pictures don't do it justice - it really reads as a high-end, sturdy piece of furniture in person. It looks like something from a luxury furniture store, but for a fraction of the price! It came almost too well-packed; it's so tightly sealed in the box that it took a lot of elbow grease to open it. Assembly took about an hour by myself. There are some portions where there aren't pre-drilled holes, relying instead on the force of the screwdriver against the soft pinewood to screw the pieces together. Once I switched to a drill for those parts, things started to go a lot more quickly. Thrilled with how it came together: everything is well-aligned, the drawers open smoothly, no wonky joins. There are a few pieces where the veneer is a little warped or the texture is off, but most of those bits wound up inside the casing where you can't see it. I would recommend Grainwood to anybody and hope to buy from them again in the future.

So far so good! I bought 2. Boxes were delivered in very good shape. It seems that Grainwood has the best internal packing I've come across for assembly-required furniture so far, actually. Assembly was easy and straight forward, parts were well organized and labeled as well. They're a nice height and overall the perfect size for my small bedroom. Beautiful finish and color is as shown online. They're very sturdy and overall great quality. Bought and assembled the matching dresser from another retailer for a couple hundred more before coming to Grainwood's site *frowning face*, but will by directly from Grainwood from now on after this great experience. Looking forward to adding some small table runners or doilies and some lamps. On the downside, if anything, I wish the inside of the drawers had the same finish as the outside of the rest of the nightstand.
