The powerful and energy efficient Metabo HPT UC18YGL2M battery charger is designed to charge Hitachi cordless power tool Nickel-Cadmium batteries. It can charge 7.2V, 9.6V, 12V, 14.4V and 18 volt batteries, including Metabo HPT’s EB1214, EB1414, EB1420, EB1814, and EB1820 (not included). Its 2-way overcharge protection system prevents short circuits, extended charging and overheating, and can also detect if the battery is damaged. The charger has an input voltage of 110V - 240V and the standard 2 prong North American plug. It also has a LED indicator to keep the user updated with the charge cycle of the battery.
