Tasty side dish for a spicy protein
I am gluten free and usually stick to seafood and veggies. This rice is a deliciously filling side with a slightly sweet flavor. I grill or sautee shrimp and veggies with a cajun or spicy season and serve it with the rice. It's a well balanced meal with a sweet & spicy theme. Yum!

Extremely easy to make so long as you can boil water and have 2 cups of it along with 1T of butter or margarine. It has a little bit of spice and there's dehydrated pineapple in it so it has the sweet kick too. Great side for a spicy or smoky protein and in 25 minutes with a cost of just over $1 you can't beat it.
