More beige than white

I bought two of these. They took about 25 minutes each to assemble. I was hoping they would be more white than beige. But I can still work with them because they are a neutral color. The material is very soft and feels like velvet, but is more like a performance material. I don't know how these will hold up as far as stains, because I haven't spilled anything on them yet. Thank goodness. But I like the overall look. Very contemporary and very sturdy.
