Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I bought this adaptor for the HDMI (UHD) port. Sometimes I get a conflict error and sometimes it works after a few power downs. I was guessing it was the computer or monitor or even the cord. Well after 13 months of jacking around with it. The same thing happens with a new monitor, a new cord and a new computer. This adaptor is faulty.
