Very Surprised
I am an experienced woodworker and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this tool. I was expecting to spend a lot of time lapping the sole and filing the adjustable blade opening. All I did was file down the sharp edges and honed the blade and was ready to go. This is not a LN or a V tool nor did i expect it to be. The price was unbeatable to boot!

Nice plane at an affordable price
Great value. Not everyone can afford a Lie Nielsen or Veritas handplane. This is a great alternative. The iron was nearly as flat as the fancier brands. Sharpened easily and cut like a dream. A little rough around the edges though. Nothing 5 minutes with a file didn't fix right up.
