Easy to set up and effective

I live in Florida so a de humidifier is basically required. I got this larger one to place in my living room. It's open to the kitchen and dining area so I figured this size should cover it. Apparently sizing is very important so make sure you research what size would be best for your space. This was easy to set up. Literally pop the wheels on and plug in! It's about the size of a medium sized luggage bag. It's easy enough for me to lift, but the wheels def help with moving. There are several settings for hi and lo fan, bedroom or basement, child lock, etc. It's not any louder than any other de humidifier. I kind of like the faint humming. Make sure you read thru the owners manual for tips on where to place it and how to operate it. It's very easy and seems to work like a charm so I'd recommend this unit.

AWESOME DEHUMIDIFIER

The first thing you will notice is how well built this product is. I was happy that all you need is a 110 outlet. It comes with 3 settings low, medium, and high. It is energy star rated too. The air filter is washable which is a big plus so you do not have to change it as often. It has an auto defrost temperature setting to 41 degrees and comes with a 24 hour timer. I love the auto restart it has if the power goes out. The controls are electronic and it has a child lock to prevent tampering with it. There is also a garden hose attachment for draining the water. It comes with a one year warranty. Now the test for me was my garage which I closed in to make a man cave. I put down ceramic tile, but was having issues with them popping up. I was told the humidity was causing it. This Dehumidifier is awesome, and holds up to 50 pints of water. No more tile issues. I highly recommend it to anyone with a room that has damp conditions. Definitely worth the 5 star rating.

Works great at taking moisture out of the air.

I was kind of excited about a dehumidifier when I saw this on SparkReviewer and picked it so we could see how it works. We have an area in the house that seems to always be a bit humid and we have had problems with mildew and molds showing up. When this got to us we put it in the room and started it right up. Then we proceeded to clean up the mildew that was in the room and left this running. We don't have anywhere to put a hose into so we have to use the container on it and drain the water. This isn't to much of an inconvenience as we have the 5 quart unit. This unit has done a great job of pulling the water out of the air and so far we haven't had any more issues in this room. This unit is not super quiet, but by all means it is not to loud. Kind of sounded like a small A/C unit running so it is not to big of a bother. As for functionality, it is easy to setup, put on the casters and take off the packing tape and material and you are ready to go. Turning it on and setting up the controls is as easy as pushing a button and selecting your mode, constant or timed. Great little unit and let's hope it lasts a nice long time.
