9.2ch. 8K AV Receiver with HEOS Built-in and Voice Control

So I've been the owner of a few other brands of AVR receivers. Always wanted Marantz. Read the reviews. I really cared about the efficiency of the power supplies. I don't consider myself an audiophile. My previous favorite was Denon and it was a great unit for 15 years. My last receiver was a disappointing Pioneer. I have an Onkyo in my game room which is sufficient. But is a much smaller room than my living room where I put the new receiver. The Marantz SR6015. I have it currently set up in a 5.2 configuration with my Klipsch Heresy II, KG.1 rear surrounds and RC3 center channel. I just upgraded to dual SVS SB2000 Pro subwoofers too. So far it sounds phenomenal!! IMHO Hands down better than anything I've had before. Both for movies and music. I'm still toying with the idea of adding a couple of Atmos speakers. But that's probably a future project.

I purchased the SR6015 to replace my Marantz 7001 that I purchased for my THX home theater in 2006ish. Seventeen years later the 7001 AV receiver still worked perfectly, but it was not compatible with 4K and newer Dolby formats. The 6015 handles all my upgraded components perfectly. The onscreen setup was very intuitive, so setting up the receiver was very easy. The sound quality is amazing, exactly what I have come to expect from Marantz. I am very happy with this purchase. I'm currently running a 9.1 wired speaker configuration in the media room, but I love the fact I can incorporate the receiver with my Sono's speakers throughout the rest of my house. I will be adding a second sub and Atmos speakers to maximize the power of the receiver and our home theater experience.
