I got the RJ45 couplers to extend my CAT5 house wiring from the junction panel to my internet router. I needed to add about 4 ft of Ethernet cable to do this. Then I was able to place a second wifi router in another area of my house. The coupler did the job and works great. I used only one coupler, and it's in a line that does not move, so can't I say how it would hold up in a portable cabling use where there is movement in the connections.

It worked, seems well made. No issues.
