The style and durability are beyond expectations. I bought this to crush my adult Handicapped daughter's medication. It is commercial grade. This product will last a lifetime. If you need to crush meds on a daily basis, this is the product for you. Don't waste time or money on any others. It is washable, but I just wipe it out with a paper towel after each use. I am very pleased with my purchase of this Morta and Pestle .
