Very solid, but extremely uncomfortable!

These kettlebells look nice and are very solid, but they are the most uncomfortable kettlebells I have. I am going to replace them. Here is why. First, the rubber requires that they are bigger than a solid bell in order to achieve the weight. Second, the handle is significantly higher than my other bells. This means that that the geometry of the handle and extra width focuses pressure on a single point on my forearms. This is not due to bad technique. I understand how to shift my hands during a clean in order to keep the bell from banging into my forearms. This point pressure digs in even on exercises like shoulder and chest presses. Next, the connection between the handle and the bell is also uncomfortable. Because of the rubber sleeve around the kettlebell, the transition is not smooth. This makes the grip very uncomfortable for things like two arm curls, halos, and overhead triceps extensions. I have included some pictures of the Body Solid 55lb and 65lb compared to my Cap Barbell 60lb basic bell. To give you an idea of the size differences, the Body Solid 55lb bell is 7.8" in diameter, which is slightly larger than the Cap Barbell 60lb which is 7.5" in diameter. The Body Solid 65lb kettlebell is 8.6" in diameter. Super uncomfortable just doing a chest press. As a side note, the handle is smooth. No etching for grip. Not usually an issue.
