Runs extremely small in larger sizes

I like the material. The sizing however is horrible. I wear a women's 2X so realizing these sizes are not plus size as advertised I ordered a 4X which after receiving the item is about a size L or being generous an XL. Not even close to what I need after ordering correctly.

Fabric OK, but everything else was way off

runs small. Usually get a 2X, but ordered 3X and was very tight all over. Also the adjustable piece on the strap is plastic and from past experience will not last long. It should be metal.
