LOOOOVEE this! It's really sturdy and so worth every single penny. I always pictured this bed frame when I thought about what I wanted in my bedroom. This bed is absolutely amazing. The quality is fantastic. It has a great finish. I simply could not be happier with the product, the packaging, and ease of assembly. Get this bed! I am sure, someone or a team thoughtfully constructed this bed and packaging with focus, care, and QUALITY. The pocket Spring Mattress is just SO PERFECT, it is the exact mattress that is recommended for lower back pains. For anyone with orthopedic issues, this mattress acts like medicine - Definitely recommended for sound deep sleep! This bed does not creak, does not shake, and it's so stable and so easy to build. It is DRASTICALLY EASIER to build than ANY Ikea bed. If you can build Ikea, this bed is like child's Legos. Plus, the headboard is absolutely gorgeous. The wood feet look really nice and make it look expensive. I love it! It's also very smartly designed, in a way that makes it easy for one person to put together. HIGHLY recommend. The headboard and bed frame are padded and covered with a dark gray upholstery that feels very durable to the touch. On top of that, the mattress is very comfortable and fits perfectly with the bed frame, eliminating any movement of the mattress due to the slightly raised pads on either side of the bed. This is technically a platform bed, meaning that a box spring is not required. There are wooden slats and central metal leg that provide ample support for the bed. In recent years, I have actually preferred the platform style bed to the box spring frame. Moving a mattress AND box spring is much too strenuous. This bed can be styled to match any sort of room aesthetic, so if you want to dress it up or dress it down, you can do so without fail. The raised block legs give the bed a good height that makes it comfortable to sit on. It's not too low and it's not too tall. The headboard is an additional piece that is both stylish and functional. The fabric of the bed does seem durable, but only time will tell how much wear and tear it can take. Given that you rarely move your bed once its built, I'm sure that the upholstery will do just fine. All in all, the bed and mattress look and feel high quality, however, I do wish there was an option to purchase the bed separate form the mattress for those of us who have particular mattress preferences.
