We purchased a 16KW Generac generator 11years ago and it has worked perfectly...It was time, however, to replace it so now we have the newer version of the 16K and it looks terrific...Added features are going to make this generator even more easier to use and service than the older one...Here's hoping the new one operates as well for 11 years as the older one...

I have just had the 16 kw generator installed. My only concern are the four circular openings (for lifting) which could easily allow access for rodents and/or snakes. A plug or some covering should have been included with the unit. This should not be an "extra" or the responsibility of the consumer. I do have woods around my property. Other than that I feel my decision to go with Generac was the right choice.
